Notes
- Brett Roseboro decided to leave Marquette before the school year began.
- Patrick Hazel decided to transfer from Marquette to Boston University following the 2008-2009 season after only playing in 21 games and averaging just over 2 points per game.
- Liam McMorrow was declared medically unable to participate in athletics at the collegiate level, ending his career at Marquette. He will continue his studies at MU, but will not be part of the 13 player roster.
- Maurice Acker left the team in June 2009. He then returned in late August.
- Jeronne Maymon quit the team in December 2009 after 9 games, and decided to transfer to Tennessee.
- Chris Otule was injured in the beginning of the season and was red-shirted.
