He also was the first Marquette player to average in double figures in a single season with a 10.9 scoring average in 1934-35. He averaged 9.6 ppg in his first year and 8.5 ppg in his second year. ===== Personal ===== Morstadt was nicknamed "Nanook," because of the heavy fur coat he could often be found wearing around campus.
